Jimmie Farmer
Jimmie has played in bands with Dave and Al since his teenage years. It is rumored that in one year he learned to play at a level that most guitarists take years to achieve. He is a computer expert who works expertly for the City of Tacoma and has too many hobbies/interests to list. He recently took up diving and has managed to dive in the Puget Sound while avoiding Tacoma's own Great White shark.
Onstage, Jimmie uses a 1979 Gibson Les Paul, an early 70's Gibson SG Deluxe, and a Fender Stratocaster. He runs his guitar signal through old Ibanez compressor and chorus pedals and into an Ernie Ball volume pedal.
In years past, he played through a big, loud Marshall, but nowadays amplification for "that great Jimmie sound" is provided by a Mesa Boogie Dual Caliber DC-5. Jimmie mics his amp with (you guessed it)...a Shure SM-57. He also sings through whatever mic happens to be in front of him, but the band tries to discourage this practice.
Jimmie has played guitar for the Malchicks, and Dance Factory.
